Our Approach
Organizing
Effective organizing doesn’t start with answers — it starts with deep listening, surfacing the knowledge already within a community, and helping people recognize and use their own power to create change. Crossroads applies this same approach inside organizations, partnering with institutions to see how power operates within their structures, shift entrenched cultures, and disrupt systemic inequity.
Training
At Crossroads, we believe lasting change happens when everyone — staff, leadership, and community — sees the problem the same way and shares a vision for what’s possible. That starts with common ground: shared language and analysis. Our capacity building aims for exactly that: not just awareness, but alignment. This may include:

Our Team
We are organizers, educators, and agents of change. We collaborate, consult, and coach to disrupt and transform. Our staff is majority People of Color with layers of diversity including race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, faith tradition/spirituality, age, region, and educational background.
